1. Open your main department folder in OU Campus
  2. Click on the "Profiles" folder
  3. Select the faculty profile you would like to add sections to
  4. Click on "MultiEdit"
  5. You can now add up to 10 new regions. Description of each region:
    1. Faculty Website Button - use this region if the faculty member wants to link to a personal website such as a digital CV or portfolio site, or link to a pdf CV or other document.
      1. Linking to an external website URL
        1. Button Text - Type in the text you want to appear inside the button
        2. Button Link - Paste in the URL to the website you want the button to link to
      2. Linking to a document you've already uploaded to your website's Docs folder
        1. Button Text - Type in the text you want to appear inside the button
        2. Button Link - Paste in the URL to the file, or follow these instructions:
          1. In the Button Link box, select the button that looks like a sheet of paper (it says "choose file" when you hover over it)
          2. This will open the "Choose a File" dialog box
            1. Set the view to "Staging" instead of "Production" by selecting Staging in the dropdown menu (it will say "Production" by default)
            2. Find your website folder by scrolling or searching by name in the "Filter by Name" field
            3. Open your website folder and select the "docs" folder inside
            4. Choose the file you want the button to link to
            5. Click "Choose File"
    2. Region 1 - use this region for any type of unformatted text, such as a bio, teaching philosophy, or list of research interests.
      1. Heading - this text will show as a region heading and be formatted large and bold. Example: Teaching Philosophy
      2. Content - this text will be formatted in regular paragraphs. 
    3. Region 2 - use this region for formatted text and/or links to external content like publications or awards
      1. Heading - this text will show as a region heading and be formatted large and bold. Example: Recently Published Articles
      2. Content - use the toolbar to format the text and/or add hyperlinks to the text included in this section
    4. Regions 3-10 - use this region for any type of unformatted text, such as a bio, teaching philosophy, or list of research interests.
      1. Heading - this text will show as a region heading and be formatted large and bold. Example: Teaching Philosophy
      2. Content - this text will be formatted in regular paragraphs.
  6. Click "Save"
  7. Click "Publish" - The changes you have made are now live on the faculty member's profile.
